Why am I not at Glastonbury ?

Sitting watching 7 hours of Glastonbury on BBC3 - fabulous. Goldfrapp performance included bikini clad dancers with deer heads. Quite glad when they took the deer heads off but sadly they didn't continue with the bikinis....

Every year I think "must go to Glastonbury this year" and every year it sells out before I've even lifted the phone.

next year tho...

Accidental Censorship

Apparently, the comments box on this site has been insisting that only registered users of Blogger.com can leave comments. It would appear that this is because I ticked the box that said "only registered users of Blogger.com can leave comments".

Who'd have thunk it...

Changed that now and any Tom, Dick, Harry or Carolyn can leave comments. Assuming anyone ever reads this crap of course.

Kill all midges

It's that time of year again... Went climbing the other night and found myself being feasted on by swarms (NB: slight axaggeration) of midges. Still itchy from the bites today.

I'm not keen on genetic modification. However, if someone can modify the midge gene so they eat each other instead of me, I will be in full support. Do they actually play any part in nature ? Do they transfer pollen or provide food for some other part of the animal kingdom ? Nope, thought not.

Nuke 'em I say.

Where does it all go ?

It's two weeks until pay day and I have no cash (again). I keep seeing these stories about people with disposable income. Is it possible they are disposing of mine while they are at it ?

I believe there is a culprit. A strange money eating beast that can sneak into your bank account and snaffle all that it finds. The only mark it leaves is a little sign saying direct debit on your statement....
